Training at Greentown Fairgrounds

Building:  Metal building until it's warm enough to move to the Livestock building
Time:  1A, 1B - 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
             2A, 2B, 3B - 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Topic Covered:  Will build on each previous week's class. Main focus will be obedience, with certain weeks (or parts of class) dedicated to Showmanship.  Notice of Showmanship classes will be given at least one week in advance.
Showmanship dates for 2010:  April 27 & May 11.  Additional dates may be added at Leaders' discretion.

Supplies Needed for Obedience Classes
4-H Members will be required to provide a well-fitting collar as described in the Project Summary, 6 foot leather or fabric leash, proper footwear, training treats, water & bowl for your dog at each class meeting.

Supplies Needed for Showmanship Classes
4-H Members will be required to provide a well-fitting collar and lightweight lead (suitable for conformation classes - consult with your Leaders if you're not sure if your leash/collar is suitable), proper footwear, training treats, water & bowl for your dog at each class meeting.
